1st Quarter

My first final is tomorrow, and I can’t help but think to myself, shit is the quarter really over? I mean its all gone by so fast, and its been so great. So many people, so many experiences. Its just been a real mind fuck, because its never going to be like this again. Its never going to be this easy to walk up to someone and say “hi, none of us have any friends yet, lets be friends” no one has a routine or a reputation, and everyone is struggling to find one. Its all so fucking cliche, but its great. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience so far, and considering the blood (yes real blood) sweat (lots o sweat) and tears (too many tears) that I have poured out this quarter that’s really saying something. I am so glad that I have literally lived my life exactly how I want to live it. Its refreshing, exciting and empowering.

Considering how terrified I was to leave home, and live in *dorms* with a *roommate* and “fend for myself” I think I’ve done a really good job, and I’m fucking proud of myself. I wish that I could give everyone the experience that I’ve had because I know that some people hate it, or just aren’t happy, or chose the wrong school, or the wrong friends, or whatever, and that blows, because this is it, I cannot imagine a life more happy or more carefree than what I have right now. Maybe its because of my awesome fucking weekend, and i’m just in a super good mood, but I’m stoked to go on to second quarter. Older, probably a little less wise than three months ago.
